AllPac10’s CBSSports.com BlogPoll: Top 25 Poll for Week 13

By Sam Saig, November 23, 2009 5:56 pm

AllPac10.com was excited to accept an invitation to join CBSSports.com’s Blog Poll, which is run by Brian Cook who has a great Michigan blog over at www.mgoblog.com. You can read more about the premise by heading over to the Blog Poll via the link below, but it is essentially like a coaches or media poll except it is made up by top blogs across the country!

Rank Team Delta
Florida – The Mighty Gators really took it to those stingy FIU Golden Panthers… yawn.
Texas – It would be shocking to see Texas lose at this point.
Alabama – Unlike Florida, Alabama had the guts to schedule a real non-conference team late… oh wait.
TCU
Cincinnati
Boise State
Oregon – What a thrilling win for the Ducks in Tucson. Now comes one of the best Civil Wars of all time.
Georgia Tech
Pittsburgh 1
Ohio State 2
Oklahoma State
Penn State 1
Iowa 1
Oregon State – The Beavers have flown under the radar for long enough. Now for the second year in a row, OSU has a chance to win the Pac-10 against the Ducks. 1
Virginia Tech 1
LSU – Ole Miss stunned the Tigers in Oxford. 5
Southern Cal – Trojans may not be playing for a BCS game but ‘SC can still tie for second in the Pac-10 (and the Holiday Bowl would certainly welcome Pete Carroll and Co.). 1
California – Jeff Tedford’s team finished strong in an otherwise disappointing season. The Bears physically overpowered a Stanford team that is used to bullying the opponent. 6
Miami (Florida)
Houston
Utah
Clemson
Brigham Young
Mississippi
North Carolina
Last week’s ballot
Dropped Out: Georgia Tech (#8), Stanford (#9), Wisconsin (#17), Arizona (#25).
